Clare House Team:
A dedicated team of professionals work hard at Clare House rest home to assure quality of life. Staff training and upskilling is managed by Vicki Green with a joint annual two-day staff training course held each year with Rose Lodge staff. In house training sessions cover topics such as Parkinsons, diabetes, oral hygiene, dietary requirements and incontinence support.
All staff have achieved the ACE National Training Certificate and the Career Force National Certificate in Health and Wellness. Clare House was awarded three years certification in 2015 by the DAA Group.
Emma Lovett, BSW, Retirement Village Assistant Manager:
Emma is new to the team and brings a background of social work to our retirement village. Emma is a day to day support for Clinical Mangers Robyn and Jackie. Emma has worked in the industry for the past five years will answer any queries regarding the retirement village.
Robyn Stirling, RN, Clinical Manager:
Born and Bred in Invercargill, Robyn has been Clare House’s RN for the last 10 years. Robyn provides direction to our care staff to ensure the highest quality of care. Robyn liaises with families, GP’s and Care Co-ordination and completes all of Clare House’s InterRAI assessments. Robyn’s focus is to ensure that the appropriate care needs of each and every resident are consistently met.
Chris Hill, EN, Clinical Care Manager:
Having lived in Invercargill for many years, Chris has been responsible for providing the excellent care to our residents in the Dementia Unit for the last 11 years. With many years’ experience working with people with Dementia including being the local field office for the Alzheimer’s Association, Chris ensures all our residents are provided with the highest level of care, respect and dignity.
Angela Sinclair, Marie McDonald and Judy Brown,
Activities are provided by our new activities co-ordinators Marie McDonald and Judy Brown who provide the activities for the Johnstone and Perriam Wing residents with Angela providing the activities for the Williams Wing residents. Our activities co-ordinators ensure their activity programmes are varied and resident centred.
Karyn Cleary, Administration:
Karyn has been responsible for the administration at Clare House for 9 years and is your first point of contact, welcoming families and visitors with her great friendly personality.
