Clare House Team:

A dedicated team of professionals work hard at Clare House rest home to assure quality of life. Staff training and upskilling is managed by Lynley Irvine with a joint annual two-day staff training course held each year. In house training sessions cover topics such as Parkinsons, diabetes, oral hygiene, dietary requirements and incontinence support.

 

Lynley Irvine, General Manager:

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation running of the Village and Care Centre.  Lynley has 35 years of health sector experience in private / public and educational settings.

Jackie Groot, RN, Clinical Manager to Perriam Wing

Jackie provides direction to our care staff to ensure the highest quality of care. Jackie liaises with families, GP’s and Care Co-ordination and completes all of Clare House’s InterRAI assessments. Jackie’s focus is to ensure that the appropriate care needs of each and every resident are consistently met.

Chris Hill, Village Supervisor:

Having lived in Invercargill for many years, Chris has been responsible for providing the excellent care to our residents in the Dementia Unit for the last 13 years.  Chris has recently been appointed to the role of Village Supervisor. In this role she will provide day to day support and co ordination of care to the residents of the Village.

Angela Sinclair, Denise Schreurs and Judy Brown,
Activities Co-ordinators:

Activities are provided by our new activities co-ordinators Denise Schreurs and Judy Brown who provide the activities for the Johnstone and Perriam Wing residents with Angela providing the activities for the Williams Wing residents. Our activities co-ordinators ensure their activity programmes are varied and resident centred.

Karyn Cleary and Keri Tatham , Administration:

Karyn and Keri are responsible for the administration at Clare House and are your first point of contact, welcoming families and visitors.
